By introducing the reel spindle and the reel clamp Interthor has come up with a welcome help for everybody, who needs to lift, carry and rotate reels, and position these on shelves, machines, etc. The reel spindle and reel clamp are no doubt equipment being inquired by the printing and packaging industries.

The two products grip the reels in two different ways. The reel spindle grips the reel by the core of the reel, and the reel clamp grips the reel by the reel circumference.

“It is hard, uncomfortable and often impossible to lift and rotate reels manually – and many inquiries have now made us introduce the reel spindle and reel clamp”, says Henning Lyager, Sales and Marketing Executive at Logitrans, and continues “We know that many reels are lifted inconveniently – and we here have the solution which protects back, shoulders and arms”.

The reel spindle and reel clamp are available as optional extras for all Interthor stackers. The products have a quick shift system and can easily be exchanged with the various fork options and optional extras, offered by Interthor. The Interthor stacker can also be used for ordinary lifting and transport of goods on pallets.
